Nuno Felting

This is my first 'proper' attempt at Nuno felting.
For those of you who dont know 'Nuno felting' is felting onto very fine silk (or other fine natural fabric)
I made a basic poncho/ shawl shaped resist and went from there.
I am pretty happy with this first attempt.
I am loving working with all these lovely autumn colours at the moment, bliss..... x

You're introdcuing me to all sorts of techniques Mim. Never heard of it, but now I realise I've seen nuno-felted pieces, just didn't know how they were created. You're a true fibre artiste!

Felting is a fun and cool thing to do. I tried it a few years ago, but wasn't very successful. You seemed to have done a great job with your nuno felting. I wonder how it would look like if it were used as a skirt?
