~Benjamin Disraeli
It seems I have had one of those unintentional little breaks.
In these last few weeks I have been a busy little bee in the studio, the kids and I were also lucky enough to have a week in Queensland, it was glorious spending time in the ocean and being shone on by the warm sun.
I have posted here, photos of some eco- printing I did before going to QLD.
All credit for this method goes to the extremely talented and very inspiring India Flint .
I made a felt scarf with merino wool and silk and then laid Eucalyptus leaves on top.
Then the whole lot was rolled bundled and tied before being put in the steamer for a couple of hours.
The leaves give amazing colours and patterns.
I am looking forward to seeing what everyone has been up to!

Something for me at the shop??? You're too sweet. Really.
BTW I'm very interested in doing a felting workshop with you sometime, when you run them again.
India has infected the world!!!!!
But this is much better than mexican flew.
Although media makes the flew as big as .....
These look stunning in their subtlety. I really enjoyed our felting workshop the other weekend and can't wait to do more. It is lovely to see you back. AMxx
